Project Manager

With a growing number of projects, we are looking for someone to join our projects team as a Project Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for the strategic management of several international conferences and/or educational programs, supported by the scientific, production, and communications teams

We are looking for someone who can take on the sole responsibility for the planning, organization, and outcomes of a portfolio of conferences, workshops, courses, and other educational formats; currently in an online setting but hopefully, we can soon go back to a live/hybrid setting. You will be leading a team of (jr) project coordinators and together, you will take care of the full organization of a number of annual programs. In this role, you engage all relevant stakeholders, and you are responsible for the quality, execution, and financial project results of your team. 

Your main tasks & responsibilities will be: 

  • Initiate, manage, participate and lead projects on a tactical and strategic level
  • Lead a projects team for the end to end management of a project lifecycle including fundraising, budget management, and reconciliation
  • Promotion and participant acquisition
  • Organizing endorsements and accreditation from all relevant parties
  • Development, accuracy, and quality of all print/web/media/social media materials
  • Faculty management
  • Project logistics
  • Livestreaming & Onsite project management
  • Evaluation & Aftersales
  • Ensure that projects meet volume and budget targets
  • Ensure that all aspects of project management meet compliance requirements and quality standards
  • Ensure that procedures are implemented in the work process
  • Continuously search to optimize efficiency, efficacy, and project results
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the organization

Knowledge, skills, and experience

  • More than 2 years experience in project management, preferably in the medical field
  • Master’s degree or relevant working experience
  • Academic thinking and working level
  • Business acumen and commercially aware
  • Near-native command of English (both verbal and in writing)
  • Excellent communicator and strong in stakeholder management
  • Flexibility: being able to switch between helicopter view and critical details
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Quantitative skills, capable of working with financial data
  • Excellent IT skills, experience with event management software and Adobe Indesign is a big plus
